Welcome to Zurich's new postgraduate course in International Organisations - MASIO

Pascal Lamy, Director General of the World Trade Organisation
In cooperation with the University of Geneva, the University of Zurich offers a new master programme, called MASIO, which provides in-depth and practice related knowledge about law and regulations that govern international organisations. It is a full-time programme which lasts one year and is designed for university graduates preferably with relevant professional experience who are currently working in or cooperating with international organisations or are planning to do so.
MASIO is a demanding and practice-related post-graduate education and reflects the rapidly growing importance of international law in the context of international organisations.
This unique programme provides the opportunity to study the law of international organisations in Switzerland, the country that hosts most globally active international organisations. Moreover, studying at the University of Zurich offers the chance to experience life in Switzerland’s most dynamic and cosmopolitan city.
In order to specifically meet the needs of practitioners, we offer several modules within the master programme as certificate courses. They last six weeks (96h, 10 credits). Successful graduates receive the title “Certificate of Advanced Studies” (CAS) in the respective field.
As diversity is essential to us, we welcome students from all over the world.
